Herman Creek Backpack from Cascade Locks to Herman Creek Camp. Class A hike.

We will meet at Cascade Locks under the Bridge by the Mural. We will put one car at Herman Creek and one car under the bridge at Cascade Locks by the Mural. We will hike the 5.5 miles to Herman Camp from Cascade Locks. Set up camp at Herman Creek back pack camp at junction of Nick Eaton Ridge Trail and Gorton Creek Trail. If time permits we will day hike up Herman Creek on Monday. Tuesday AM we will do the 5.2 mile loop up Nick Eaton Ridge to Indian Point (or if we are energetic and snow permits: up to Dead Wood Camp) and come down the Gorton Creek trail. We will then hike out the 1.3 miles to the car at Herman Creek car camp. Bring tent, stove, sleeping bag, rain clothes, warm clothes for the night and your own food.
