Tyee July Work Party

Hi Fellow Trails Clubbers!

We had to cancel the June work party due to snow but Tyee awaits us in July. We still have a long list of tasks so I am hoping for a good turn out. In addition to our task list Catherine Schiedler will be doing some training for prospective host/cooks. I will also provide lodge opening/closing training. If this is your first work party, bring a sleeping bag and pillow plus overnight essentials. Gloves and sturdy shoes are recommended.

We will provide food and lodging is free for work party participants. Please confirm your participation by July 3rd because we need to purchase food.

Meals provided: Sat: Bkfst, lunch, dinner

Sun: Bkfst, (possibly lunch)

Test Emergency Lights

Test Smoke Alarms

Test Fire Hoses

Check Fire Extinguishers for Svc.

Have Furnace Serviced (Honke)

Have Oil Tanks Filled

Examine Exterior for Damage

Check Roof for damage

Clean Shower

Clean Stove and Ovens

Clean Refrigerator

Clean Kitchen and Supply cabinets

Inventory consumables

Check Decon traps

Change Opening/Closing Notes

Burn Pile

Remove storm windows

Wash windows

Take down Avalanche Signs

Check Bridges for soundness

Check trail ropes

Add non slip surface to steps

Inspect/repair south side fire escape

Finish front porch

Put away Avalanche signs

Put up sceen doors
