Plans are to work on trails with Polaski to widen and strengthen, rebuild the benches on the point. Form sleeping area on ground of old women's dorm. Continue to haul out old metal to parking area. Continue to move wood and cut rounds to clear for water tank use and restore water pressure to lodge.

We have been provided a limited permit to enter closed forest service land. The restrictions are that we go in as a group and come out as a group. There is no hiking permited outside of our property on these work trips. We will be meeting people at the gate on Larch MT road at 9:00 AM on Friday Morning and 9:00 AM on Saturday morning to take people in. We are only bringing people out at 6:00 PM on Saturday and 1:00 PM on Sunday. The road past the green gate is narrow and only high clearance cars with four wheel drive are able to drive in. My Rav4 made it in and out just fine. You may need to park at the Green gate and hike in from there. Be prepared. We have the tractor. We will need to limit this work trip to 30 people who are needed to help the cook, clean up the fire debris, cut, split and haul wood. Please sign up and put yourself on the wait list so we can communicate with you to see where you want to work and when you want to come in. This is necessary. We will try to bring everyone who wants to come in and work. Our wood supply is extremely low for running the wood stove. If you have some dry stove wood you could bring to Nesika in a high clearance four wheel drive please let us know. You will need sleeping bag, bed pad, tent (optional), gloves, clothes that can get dirty. We have potable water. There is room to tent in front of the lodge which is safe. We are working at developing other safe tenting spots. Shower is not yet working because of low water pressure till we get our new water tank in. Sponge baths are possible. We will be providing masks, helmets and some paint suits to work in the ash. Most of the ash has been dispensed. Please bring leather gloves to protect your hands from broken glass. The glass and metal have been removed from working areas so you can bring your children at your discretion. Food is free for the weekend. We feed our workers very well. We cater to vegan, dairy free and gluten free dietary needs.
