10:45 Hike: TCO day at Champoeg State Park

Hike description: We will visit Kitty Howell's grave, then
follow Champoeg Creek to the confluence with the Willamette river. Following the river we will stop at the Monument (Oregon's 1st government formed on this site). Returning on the bike/hike trail to shelter for lunch. There's a separate Meetup sign up if you'd like to have a hot lunch with TCO or bring your own lunch and visit with us at Oak Shelter #4. Also, the Visitor Center is well worth a visit.

Cost:
Members- free, Non-Members- $2.00

State Park one-day parking permit is $5 per car (if you don’t have an annual permit and are not camping at the park).
