Sledding weekend

Come sled with TCO. Tyee lodge is open. Now during COVID we have limited overnight capacity so members and their guests are prioritized. Day use open to members, provisional members and those interested in membership. Sled our hill or the Mazama hill nearby. Tyee is only accessed by 1/4 mile snow hike up a hill. $3 day use fee (covers fire, bathrooms, hot chocolate, coffee, ping pong, games). Parking limited so late comers may have longer hike from Summit ski. To get to the Tyee snow trail, turn on Timberline road from HWY 26 in Government camp. If Timberline staff have the road closed, just drive or walk up to them and tell them you are going to Tyee. Go up Timberline road about 1/4 mile and park on the right hand side of the road at the first parking area you see. please park perpendicular, nose towards road. The trail is across the road at the beginning of the parking area and there are metal poles to mark the trail. Go up the snow bank and go left at the fork. follow the ropes all the way to the back door. call or text day off if you need help 503-319-2989
