We're excited to kick off Transit Techies NYC with a stellar lineup of transit enthusiasts who code. We hope you'll join us!
Doors open at 7! We will have light refreshments and pizza. We'll do the normal dance of eat + mingle, listen + present, mingle + leave.

Speakers
Will Geary will show how to use Processing & P5.js to build transit visualizations, specifically for TransitFlow.
Kathryn Killebrew will walk us through lessons from working on trip routing for GoPhillyGo (https://gophillygo.org), a trip planning tool for biking, walking, and transit.
Jiaxu Zhou will explore analytical methods for mapping potential Citibike usage in the outer boroughs.
Dan Vanderkam will discuss NYC Transit Explorer, a tool built by Sidewalk Labs which shows how long it would take to get anywhere in the city via transit, including scenario analysis.
