Transition To Green Community Summer Picnic!
Details
Transition To Green Community Picnic
August, 2019 (Exact Date TBD!)
12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Come join us for our Summer Picnic!
As you have walked around your neighborhood or in public gardens have you ever wondered what are the typical popular plants and if there are any drought tolerant native alternatives? If the weather stays below 90 degrees Fahrenheit, we plan to share with you how to create color in your garden without having your water bill go up.
Potluck in Arlington Gardens
Get in touch through email, on the Meetup Message Center, or Facebook Messenger (https://www.facebook.com/Transition2Green/) about what to bring to the picnic from these categories:
Organic Mediterranean - Diana Brandt will be bringing a lentil salad, water, and Hansen sodas
Organic Vegetarian
Organic Vegan - Dr. Terence Kubar will be bringing a pasta salad with veggies, drizzled with olive oil
(*Organic refers to the growth of food without synthetic pesticides, although certain types of non-synthetic pesticides are still permissible.)
This is an opportunity to get some of your sustainable garden questions answered and to meet more people in the T2G community. Please respond with an RSVP of Yes or No. We don’t see Maybe as an option :).
Thank you,
~ Diana Brandt and Dr. Terence Kubar
