Bus Hack Night

Let's talk about bus technologies and ways to use data collected from buses. Our speakers include:

• Michael Eichler, PlanItMetro (http://planitmetro.com/), will demo visualizations of Metrobus automatic person counter data

• Scott Giering, WMATA Office of Bus Planning, will talk about visualizing bus origin-destination data

• Steven Yaffe, transit services manager for ART (http://www.arlingtontransit.com/), will discuss ART technology - how ART collects and manages bus data

• Kevin Webb, Conveyal (http://conveyal.com/), will talk about projects to map and (make sense of) buses in a few of the world's largest and most complex cities
