Metro Hack Night is a show & tell of Metro-related apps and data visualizations. Our speakers are:
• Christian Flores will show DC Mass Transit (http://www.dcmasstransit.com/), an iOS app that combines Metrobus, Metrorail, Circulator, Streetcar and Capital Bikeshare.
• Dan Larson will use his simulation model of the WMATA system to predict train loading and platform crowding during the morning rush.
• Justin Antos offer a look at his Metrorail Capacity Analysis Tool.
• Joe Haaga (https://twitter.com/joe_haaga) will discuss an extensible command line utility for train arrivals.
• Marcos Huerta will demo his Python-built DC Metro Pi Speaker (https://github.com/astrowonk/DC-Metro-Pi-Speaker).
• Austin Brown will demo his Amazon Echo app for Metro.
• Nick Stocchero (https://stocche.ro/) will show how he uses Twitter to power ismetroonfire.com (https://www.ismetroonfire.com/).
