Coders and commuting: how do apps change the way we drive? This month we'll hear from tech companies with apps that help people share the road. We'll meet on the 12th floor of WeWork's new Crystal City location (https://www.wework.com/locations/washington-d-c/crystal-city). Doors open at 6:00 with pizza courtesy of our sponsors Mobility Lab (http://mobilitylab.org/) and RideAmigos (https://rideamigos.com/). Presentations start at 6:30.

β€’ Anna Petrone (https://twitter.com/1littlevictory) will present how Split (http://split.us/) is building a scalable and efficient shared ride system.

β€’ Andriy Klymchuk will show how Sameride (https://www.sameride.com/) was created, a mobile app for communities of commuters.

β€’ Prachi Vakharia will show how RideAmigos (https://rideamigos.com/) integrates transportation network companies into city planning.

β€’ Jay Subramaniam will talk about Getaround (https://www.getaround.com/)'s software and hardware technologies.

β€’ David Miller will share what he learned after launching Ride Leads (http://rideleads.com/), the nation’s first connected-traveller and packaged mobility platform.

β€’ Antonio Zugaldia (https://www.mapbox.com/about/team/#antonio-zugaldia) will present Mapbox Drive (https://www.mapbox.com/blog/drive/) and show how to use it to build your own ridesharing app.
