Playing with Traffic III

"Playing with Traffic" is the theme we have for programmers who are working on car-centric projects.

• David Nguyen (https://www.linkedin.com/in/davewin)will show how ThruGreen (http://thrugreen.com/) uses GPS to estimate intersection arrival time.

• Xiao-Feng Xie (http://www.wiomax.com/team/xie/)will share his work on smart urban signal networks and how they can optimize urban traffic .

• Virginia Lingham (https://www.linkedin.com/in/virginialingham/) from VDOT (http://www.virginiadot.org/) will give an overview of their new SmarterRoads (http://smarterroads.org/) Data Portal and update us on the development of a Basic Infrastructure Message (http://www.cts.virginia.edu/cvpfs_research).
