What we're about

Sensor hardware and perception algorithms are key components for the realization of fully autonomous vehicles. Autonomous vehicles have multiple sensors -- such as lidar, radar, sonar, cameras, and GPS -- that generate a plethora of data. Perception algorithms -- including machine vision and machine learning -- use sensor data to improve the vehicle's understanding of the environment. This group discusses all things related to autonomous vehicle sensor hardware and software.
