Mexico and the Caribbean won the vote! Which means that the April coffee meetup will be focusing on Mexico, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Barbados, the Virgin Islands, Aurba, etc.
Since many people do all-inclusive resorts and cruises, we'll have plenty of info on both and more. Around 7pm there will be a couple people who have personally traveled to these areas and give a general presentation to the Travel & Culture Group with travel tips & advice. Afterwards will be a Q&A so people can ask any questions they have that weren't covered.
Also keep an eye out for printed materials that have basic travel information on each country (currency, visa requirements, cities & destinations in the country, etc) as well as an in-depth packing list, highlights and attractions around Mexico/Caribbean, and tons of other info. Unfortunately there will be only one copy of each, so bring a pen & paper if you’d like to write down any info.
The venue that’s hosting our Travel & Culture coffee meetup; Howlin Hounds Coffee Shop! Everyone loves the venue and it's great to have our meetup in a venue that has so much art, books, and space. The owner Greg has been a great support for the Travel & Culture group and it's always wonderful to support small Omaha businesses.
See you there!
