Hey 2.0'ers,

Quick reminder about our discount codes for the New York Travel Festival. Use the below promo codes at checkout at:

TRAVEL20ALL - for $20 off All-Access Passes

TRAVEL20WEEKEND - for $5 off Weekend Traveler Passes

The festival opens tomorrow, Thursday April 14 at Rocco’s Tacos with an industry-only track presenting the latest tools for press relations and marketing strategies.
Yours truly will be appearing on the panel "Capitalizing On Travel Trends To Drive Economic Development".

On Friday April 15 the festival’s 2nd Annual Travel Unity Summit (in partnership with Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams) will focus on economic development through tourism at Brooklyn Borough Hall.

Over the weekend of April 16-17, the festival moves to St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights, with a two-day program encompassing expert panels and presentations on digital marketing, emerging markets, entrepreneurship, best uses of media, creating diversity, and sustainability in the tourism industry, and more, as well as performances, networking events and immersive exhibits from our partners in NYC and around the world.

Travel 2.0 will be supporting the Innovation Mainstage which will run from 11am to 6pm on Saturday:

I'll be moderating the panel "Hot Trends In Travel Tech".

There are several ways that startups can gain exposure to this influential audience, all of which are outlined here: Some examples of how you can participate include:

  • For only $300, they will promote you via the website and through their social media channels through the end of 2016. They also will connect you with travel media who can cover your product through both traditional channels and social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • For $500 you can have your own table to showcase your product. If you’d like, you can share the table with another sponsor, splitting costs.

For complete schedule and tickets, visit

Hope to see you there!
