Bayesian data analysis in Clojure

Hosted By

Details
This talk details my experience using Clojure to perform Bayesian data analysis, and why I chose it in favour of the alternatives. I will talk about a library for statistical computation that I've been working on, and will demonstrate it on a number of examples. Finally I will show how an algorithm using this library is being used by a group in Duke's Neuroscience department to classify the spiking behaviour of neurons in the brain.
Michael Lindon is a PhD student in statistics at Duke.
