Getting Started with Gatsby + Drupal

Dan Goodwin of NETE will kick off the first in our front-end series sharing his insight on Drupal and Gatsby.

Gatsby is a modern front-end JavaScript framework that makes no compromises in both giving developers an enjoyable workflow and giving end users a seamless and performant experience. Sites built using Gatsby can query data from many different sources, including Drupal, and then build everything into highly optimized static sites which can be deployed virtually anywhere.

This presentation will be aimed at giving Drupalists an introduction to Gatsby and the underlying technologies it's built on. It will give an overview of the steps needed to get started and discuss some pros and cons of adding a technology like Gatsby to your current tech stack. This will be a high-level overview intended for all experience levels, so no previous Drupal or Gatsby experience will be required.
