SBT (http://www.scala-sbt.org/) is a build tool for Java and Scala with a highly customizable plugin system. AWS (http://aws.amazon.com/) is a cloud solution offered by Amazon. I wrote a SBT plugin (https://github.com/philcali/sbt-aws-plugin) that allows you to orchestrate EC2 instances temporarily for a single purpose inside the SBT console. We are currently using this plugin to automate Selenium tests on our Magento (http://magento.com/) extension on 8 versions of Magento in parallel.
