The Selenium IDE extension has been re-born for Firefox and Chrome! It includes a plug-in infrastructure that allows other extensions to provide new features to the IDE.

In this session, I will demonstrate how to build a WebExtension that supplies new Selenium IDE commands to measure the duration of steps in the test and display those measurements to the user. The extension will leverage webextension-toolbox for building and packaging the extension, as well as ReactJS, Redux and the webext-redux bridge to build a UI that updates seamlessly as the test executes.
