Satisfy Your Cravings in TestCafe!
Details
Ravenous for an easier way to write web UI end-to-end tests? Hungry to find a simple yet functional testing framework? Although it's the de-facto go-to for open-source web UI testing, Selenium (and other tools) are often lacking the meat to provide for quick, robust bites out of your UI testing demands.
We faced that struggle every day at CenterEdge Software until we made the switch to TestCafe. It’s an open-source Node.js tool that serves up easier UI tests that are more reliable and (for some of us nerds) even fun.
We’ll see TestCafe used in TypeScript code, and discuss some simple configuration tweaks for making tests more reliable and some hints for troubleshooting. We’ll cover page objects and shared libraries as well.
Join us for an “I can actually eat this!” introduction to TestCafe and see what a modern tool can do for your web UI test automation hunger pangs.
Note: This workshop chomps on the open-source (can you say “free!”) TestCafe project from DevExpress, and passes the plate on TestCafe Studio, the commercial tool from them (devexpress.com).
