    What we're about

Are you looking for a group of like minded people who want to be better prepared for a disaster, emergency or a more sustainable living? There is so much concern right now and history has shown us that being prepared is not enough, we need each other to survive in good times and in bad times. Everyday living can become strain and challenged with life changes as simple as lay-offs and unemployment. This group will exchange, share, teach, learn and better prepare us for such things. Lets help each other by building a network of those with many things to teach and learn, from water purification, growing what we eat, food storage, back up plans, preserving and preparing. Weather its a change with government, financial, man made or natural disaster, lets come together and lets get prepared.

Please join us and learn to be Self Reliant! We hold classes on a Bi-weekly schedule as well as special events. It’s a great time to meet other Preppers. All our members have different skills and knowledge. It's very laid back and we like to keep it fun. Questions are encouraged. Even beginners find out that they know more than they knew. If your reading this then you probably already have been reading the internet, trying to figure out where to start. First things first... Breath and relax. Its never a good time to panic. We hope for the best but prepare for the worst. And what will you lose about being Self Reliant and nothing happens. Well, you will learn to be Self Reliant and meet a bunch of new and friendly people.

We have and will continue to hold classes on the following subjects:

Raised bed gardening - Gorilla gardening - Communications - Alternative Energy - Bug Out Bags - Emergence Medicine - Herbal Medicine - Dealing with Natural catastrophes - Rescue techniques - Water storage and filtration - Canning - Dehydrating and much more.

If you have any of these skills and would like to lead a class than please do! It's our group that grows together.

Please note: This is about Learning new skills.
