Available to all experience levels, we are the user group for F# in the Triangle area. If you've never heard of F#, would like to learn more, or if you're wondering where those new C# features keep coming from come on by. Inclusiveness, empathy, effective communication, and productivity are our guiding principles. We'll be doing book discussions, presentations, coding sessions, and more.
As an affiliated user group of fsharp.org ( http://community.fsharp.org/ ), the F# Software Foundation, we strive to build a great community of passionate people who care deeply about F#, and want to make our community a safe and welcoming place for everyone. We expect everyone attending our events to be respectful, open, and considerate, and to follow the F# Software Foundation Code of Conduct ( http://foundation.fsharp.org/code_of_conduct ). If someone's behavior makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe in any way, please report the issue by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
First Tuesday Triangle F# meeting! Come as you are, all experience levels are welcome. If you have experience, feel free to share it.
F# is a functional first, practical, general purpose programming language. It does not require a deep understanding of functional programming or category theory to be useful to you. As a guideline when sharing knowledge, theory should go with practical examples. If you can't think of any examples you may not be ready to share the theory.
Let me know if this location is inconvenient for you or if the date conflicts with any other major programming meet-up even if you won't be going, and please RSVP so we can estimate attendance.
Fujifilm Medical Systems was gracious enough to host our monthly meetup this month. Make sure to thank them for their support of our language!
