Renaissance Swordsmanship - Beginner's Class (Brier Creek)

Details
This class is an introduction to Renaissance fencing, open to anyone interested in getting started. Anyone, regardless of previous experience, is welcome. No equipment is necessary for the beginner class, though please come dressed in exercise clothes and don't forget to bring water.
This class begins with the fundamentals of the one-handed sword (sometimes called a side sword) as taught and used in 16th-century Italy, branching into the foundations of other Renaissance weapons including rapier, sword & buckler, and dagger - all of which are studied in more depth in our Core classes.
TRAINING FEES: Our club's training fees are $40 / month, but classes are free through the first calendar month to give new students a chance to try us out. Feel free to drop by, try out our classes for a few weeks free of charge, and see if we're a good fit for you.
WAIVERS: Please note: In order for members to participate we need everyone to sign a participation waiver. Although we do everything we can to train safely and effectively, with all martial arts there is always a risk of injury. These waivers ensure that no one, participants and teachers alike, is put in undue legal risk. Please fill out the following form and bring it to your first practice.
