Eno Hike and Lunch!!

Let's play a little mid-week hooky and enjoy one of the most beautiful parks in our area. We'll gather at 9 and leave promptly at 9:15am to hike the Cox Mountain + Fanny Ford trails, accessed at the very end of Cole Mill Road. We'll do a total of about 5 miles and if the weather is right, maybe finish with a little dip in the river! Post hike, we'll head over to Earth to Us for a delicious, well earned lunch :)

Suggested to bring:

-2 liters of water
-snacks
-hat
-hiking poles
-swimsuit, change of clothes

DO NOT DEPEND ON GPS, use directions below.

DIRECTIONS: I 85 EXIT 170, then take US 70 WEST for a few hundred yards to a stoplight, RIGHT at the stoplight onto PLEASANT GREEN RD. for 2.3 miles, then LEFT onto COLE MILL RD. to enter the park in about a mile-continue straight to the last parking lot.

NOTE 1: from RTP, CARY, I 40, much of RALEIGH. From I 40 TAKE NC 147-DURHAM FREEWAY NORTH TO I 85, then take I 85 SOUTH FOR 2 MILES TO EXIT 170

NOTE 2: from CHAPEL HILL, take NC 86 NORTH TO I 85, then take 185 NORTH FOR 5 MILES TO EXIT 170. You will kinda make a U Turn to get on US 70 WEST
