Organizations thrive with greater gender diversity — enjoying greater productivity, less volatility, improved employee and customer satisfaction, and higher financial returns. Yet women are often underrepresented in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields. The Triangle is nationally recognized for its high value STEM workforce. This makes the Triangle well positioned to take advantage of a strategic opportunity to differentiate our region for women in STEM. With distinctive programs promoting inclusion and pathways to success, we aim to recruit, retain, and advance women in STEM fields in the Triangle.
