How do you use R (or hope to use R)?

Data munging, web scraping, simulations; I sometimes program my own maximum likelihood estimators and I use the popular libraries -- like Zelig, e1701, ggplot2 and knitr.

How much experience do you have with R?

I read John Fox's Companion in 2007 and worked through the examples, but it took me until 2012 to actually start using R daily, reaching for it first where I would have used Stata before. So, not much, but growing fast.

I am an applied economist. I use R and Stata for work.
