This is a homeschool group geared toward ages 5-13 and their siblings. However, older homeschool students are welcome to join and participate in any of our events.
Our group is all about getting out of the house, making lasting friendships, and learning! Our events are designed to present fun and unique experiences to all our members (parents and students!) around the Triangle Area.
I ask that you only join our group if you are actively homeschooling. We are creating lasting friendships for our children as well as for our families. Your involvement is vital to the success and longevity of our group. Therefore, each member is required to plan at least 1 group event for the school year (Sept-June) and post that event no later than December.
We do not have any requirements or restrictions based on beliefs or curriculum, we simply ask that all our members be open-minded, treat each other with respect and be kind.
All applicants must have a profile photo of themselves when applying and please keep one as long as you are a member. This is for member recognition at events and to build a sense of community and security within our group.
We will require $10 membership dues for all of our members. These funds will go towards maintaining our MeetUp requirements, securing any facilities needed for events and towards thank you treats when needed.
If you are interested in joining Triangle Area Home Educators, we will set up a meet and greet with you and your kiddos to see if this group is a good fit for everyone.
