Messaging on Serverless with Azure Functions
Details
Abstract:
Messaging is often the glue that ties together inherently decoupled systems such as those commonly found with Serverless and microservice architectures. Azure has several messaging platforms from Storage Queues and Service Bus to Event Hubs and Event Grid. On the surface, many of these messaging services look very similar so it can feel overwhelming to understand which platform is the best fit for your Serverless functions. In this talk, we'll demystify the various Azure messaging platforms by identifying the appropriate use case for each and along the way you will discover how easy it is to work with each of these messaging platforms with Azure Functions - Microsoft's Serverless Platform.
