What we're about

True Christianity is having faith in—and following—Jesus Christ. What does "following Christ" mean? This is spelled out in the Bible: it is abiding in the teachings of Jesus Christ. Salvation and Eternal Life result from this saving faith.

Are you on a serious spiritual quest? How can you follow the original teachings of Jesus Christ? It’s simple, but not easy. These teachings are preserved in the original language manuscripts of the New Testament books.

Christianity is not the straight-laced, smarmy, prudish, square, goody-goody and conformist crock that the institutionalized religions have transformed it into. They have done everything to invalidate it for those who are seeking the true spiritual pathway that Jesus taught. We are warned by Jesus of the phony burdens imposed by the establishment religious leaders.

John 15:12-17 (WEB)12 “This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn’t know what his lord does. But I have called you friends, for everything that I heard from my Father, I have made known to you. 16 You didn’t choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

17 “I command these things to you, that you may love one another.

Spiritual Growth into God's New Creation

And, through this process, Jesus is able to bring God’s Holy Spirit into our being. We become New Creations by the indwelling of the powerful Spirit of God.

John 14:16-17 16 I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor,[a] that he may be with you forever,— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world can’t receive; for it doesn’t see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.Footnotes: a. John 14:16 Greek παρακλητον: Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, and Comforter.

Acts 2:38-39 38 Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”

Sanctimonious Legalism is not Christian

Any rules that are not explicitly stated in New Testament Scripture are not part of Christianity.

Jesus said:

Matthew 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Matthew 23:4-5 4 For they bind heavy burdens that are grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not lift a finger to help them. 5 But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries[a] broad, enlarge the fringes[b] of their garments,

Matthew 23:14 “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against men; for you don’t enter in yourselves, neither do you allow those who are entering in to enter. (WEB)

2 Corinthians 11:13-14 13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as Christ’s apostles. 14 And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light. (WEB)

True Christians

Instead of blindly following cookie-cutter doctrines and man-made religious rules, seek your salvation and eternal life through the true explicit teachings of the Bible and of Jesus Christ.

We endeavor to follow authentic Christianity, without the usual man-made clap-trap, theological gymnastics, uptight church legalism, self-righteousness, judgmentalism, superficiality, and irrelevance. Get together for events without the constant undertones of hypocritical hyper-morality. Be real while living the real teachings of Christ. These are not oppressive. Jesus said that they’re not. In fact, he said that the phony establishment religious types were damned, and they were also leading others into damnation.

Jesus said:

Luke 7:34 The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Behold, a gluttonous man, and a drunkard; a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ (WEB)

Jesus taught spirituality, friendship, and love. Jesus is the world's greatest revolutionary. God sent him to lead his followers in the way of becoming spiritual super-beings. Follow his teaching to become infused with God’s Spirit, become transformed into a new spiritual creation, and gain eternal life. Get together with other followers for an interactive and mutually supportive adventure in realizing a transcendent Spirit-filled life.

Matthew 22:36-40 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.”

The revolutionary movement that Jesus advanced opposed the hypocrisy that typified the religious leadership of his day. The first Christians were a tight-knit and mutually supportive community that closely followed the teaching of Jesus. We are following this guidance of fellowship without the usual uptight church legalism, old-fashioned stuffiness, self-righteousness, judgmentalism, superficiality, and irrelevance.

Advance your spirituality with fellowship, friendship, community, and discipleship. Our model is based on the first-century Christians, whose foundation was built on the friendship that was commanded by Jesus. We are pushing aside the man-made theologies of the mainstream establishment Christian denominations and reclaiming the actual revolutionary teaching of the Savior, Jesus. The core of Christianity is deep abiding friendship. It is a friendship with Jesus and with each other.

Jesus said:

John 15:14 You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you.

John 15:17 “I command these things to you, that you may love one another. (WEB)

We endeavor to restore the closeness, cohesion, support, and spiritual discipleship of the revolutionary Biblical spiritual teaching. Our path is to follow what the Bible overtly teaches and to reject the man-made theologies of the religious establishment. The spiritual reality that Jesus introduced radically departed from the hypocrisy and doctrinal deviation of the religious establishment of his time and of ours.
