This session will delve into evidence-based medications for behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD), offer practical guidance for caregivers managing driving concerns, and provide legal insights on firearm possession and cognitive disability across multiple states.
GUEST SPEAKER:
Barbara Messinger-Rapport, MD, is the owner/founder of SAVVE (Special Assessment of Very Vulnerable Elders) in Cleveland, Ohio, where she assesses safety concerns regarding financial exploitation, driving, firearms, and other triggers of difficult behavior in older adults. She is also a Medical Director for Oak Street Health. She was the Medical Director of Vinney Palliative and Hospice Care of Menorah Park Senior Living and Director of Geriatric Medicine at Cleveland Clinic.Register for this event by using the link below:
