What we're about

Calling all those interested in any or all things mobile: iOS, Android, HTML5, mobile hybrids, and those involved anywhere along the line of mobile app development, design, marketing, etc. Please join our group! And remember to invite friends, co-workers, students, teachers.

Let me know if you have a talk that you are willing to give (short talk, long presentation, something you are an expert at, something you have just started learning--it's all good). Also, contact me to inform me of topics you are interested in and types of activities you'd like us to do.

We have the Main Meeting once a month on 3rd Mondays from 6pm-8pm. For now, we are meeting with Tulsa Web Devs in downtown Tulsa at the building called 36°N at the corner of Main and Cameron (one block north of Brady Street). We have our own break-out group after an announcements meeting with the multiple groups that meet concurrently with Web Devs. In our break-out session, we usually plan to do a short presentation or two and then a longer one. When we don't have a longer talk, or after the longer talk, we discuss problems we are having and things we've wondered about. We might even do a little coding.

We meet with Tulsa Web Devs at 36°N for a Co-Working Session on 3rd Wednesdays between 9 am and 5 pm and Hack Night on 1st Tuesdays at 6 pm. In these sessions, we often do coding on our own or ask or answer questions. There are many opportunities to help on volunteer projects for Code for Tulsa, so these two meetings are good times to work on that with others who are attending.

All three of these events are free.

Please RSVP for these meetings. This is especially important for the Main Meeting so that we will have enough FREE food.

You don't need to be an expert to present, just tell us how you go about doing a task or type of project, what you've learned recently, or something you are trying to do and have researched a little (and you may even have questions about it to bounce off the group).Let me know if you're uncomfortable presenting on the stage so that I can be sure to only ask you to speak only when we are in the smaller room (believe me I understand stage-fright).
