This free meetup group is open to any creative writer of any level. Past participants have ranged from the curious beginner to widely published authors. The format began in El Paso Texas over 20 years ago when poet Donna Snyder formed the Tumblewords Writers Project. A presenter delivers a 5-10 minute experience designed to inspire a written response in any form. Participants write for 10-15 minutes then each person reads the unfiltered writing out loud. There is no critique. There is no editing. There is 100% acceptance of the "in the moment efforts" of each participant. Each particiant leaves with a set of inspirations which they can process and refine outside of the workshop. Each session lasts 2 hours and there are usually 2 - 4 opportunities to respond, write and read out loud. We currently meet at the Marblehead Library.
