Brevard County 2021 Sustainability Setbacks
Details
Come join us for a timely presentation on Two Local Topics at 7pm EST. First, Councilperson Koss from Cocoa will bring us up to date on the status of the Cocoa Sustainability Board. Second, we will hear about Brevard County’s WISER committee and the County’s dismissal of a plan for transitioning to clean energy.
Two of Brevard County's sustainability efforts have experienced setbacks in 2021. The city of Cocoa voted to disband the current sustainability board, and Brevard County voted against recognizing a plan to transition to clean energy. Our speakers will discuss these topics and our roadmap to a sustainable future.
