The purpose of this group is to invite Yoga beginners, enthusiasts, and everyone in between interested in starting and/or growing their yoga practice. We also offer other Mind/Body/Soul modalities such as Meditation, Pranayama and Eastern healing such as Tai-Chi and Qi-Gong. Come my to our center and try one of these classes as our guest!

This Class starts with simple pranayama (breathwork), moves into gentle asana (posture) with different sequences each time depending on the needs of the class attendees, Ayurvedic principles, and the Chakra system, and ends in a 30 minute Yoga Nidra (guided meditation). The class style is very versatile and can be tailored to the needs of the students that day. ABOUT THE HOST Ajita is a state-certified Clinical Ayurveda and Panchakarma Specialist. She received her Ayurveda degree from the California College Of Ayurveda and the American Institute of Vedic Studies. She has undertaken clinical and professional training from Dr. Vasant Lad, an Ayurveda Ashram in Kerala and at the AVP hospital in Tamil Nadu, India. Ajita is also a trained Pranayam teacher with the Patanjali Yog Peeth under the guidance of Swami Ramdev. She regularly teaches pranayama, meditation, and conducts Ayurveda workshops in the community to address various health-related issues. Ajita is a member of NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association).
