Chet Haase: The State of Kotlin on Android

Android added official support for Kotlin back in 2017 and went "Kotlin-first" in 2019. So where are things at now?

In this session, Chet Haase from the Android developer relations team will give an overview of where things are at with the use of Kotlin on Android.

This includes information on the parts of Android that are being enhanced for Kotlin developers, the resources for learning and using Kotlin, and the ongoing efforts to improve both the language and Android itself through the use and adoption of Kotlin.

Chet will also field questions (and may even try to answer them!).

After the talk, we'll have time for networking with other Kotlin professionals and enthusiasts. Come and hang out past the hour if you'd like to meet others.
