Becoming a Jetpack Composer with Steve Peterson

Jetpack Compose is the most interesting UI framework for Kotlin programmers.

Compose started out as a declarative Android UI layouts-as-code library decoupled from Android OS releases. Similar to SwiftUI, it lets developers declare user interfaces as a tree of widgets that updates as your app state updates.

Today, one can write Compose-based UIs on Android, desktop, and on web.

Steve Peterson is an Android developer for the Bleachr mobile sports app, previously at Buzzfeed. For August, he's going to show us what he's learned from working with Compose so far.
