What we're about

This is a group for anyone interested in mobility and SAE (www.sae.org) as it applies to automotive, heavy industry, Ag industry, engines, autonomous vehicles, aerospace, drones, marine, rail and other mobility industries. There will be a series of monthly meetings at companies or at libraries in and around twin cities and occasionally outside the twin cities where often SAE members meet to get a presentation and/or tour of a company or a particular topic. The next upcoming meeting is Eaton Hydraulics in Eden Prairie, followed by a presentation by HoneyWell in Plymouth in October on IMU/GNSS technology. In November there will be a presentation on designing electric motors with a specific application for drones.

If this seems interesting, check us out. Each meeting will have a nominal fee for pizza + water... Usually $5 for SAE and other professional engineering society members and $10 for non members mostly to cover the cost of food for attendee and the host company volunteers and presenters.
