What we're about
We are the Twin Cities Star Riders (TCSR)
TCSR is a group of friends that like to ride together. Our club is about having fun riding but it is also about safety. We welcome all two wheel and some three wheel motorcycle types, sorry, no Slingshots. We are not a scooter or car club and you must own a motorcycle to join. We also welcome varying rider levels but because group riding requires a bit more skill than individual riding we do require that members have their endorsement. Sorry, no permits allowed.
New sign ups on Meetup will need to attend a ride identified as a ‘New Member’ ride as their first ride. These rides allow an introduction so the club and the new member can evaluate if it’s a good ‘fit’ both in riding style and personality. These rides will be of average difficulty to introduce the new member to larger group riding. If there are no issues during the ‘New Member’ ride then the new member will be listed as a Casual Rider (CR) and allowed to attend any future open rides. There will be some rides and other activities for Full Voting Members (FVM) only but this will be listed in the description of the Meetup.
We go on a variety of rides varying in difficulty and skill level. Many of our weekend rides will average 200 – 300+ miles with a lunch stop in the middle and gas stops every 80 – 100 miles. Weeknight rides are shorter, hovering around the 90 minute time, with a good place to socialize at the end.
We are a riding club that loves to ride but also values each other as friends. We have fun with and look out for each other. If this short description sounds interesting, you like to ride, be involved with a group, and value those you ride with then come join us to check things out further.
