This is the monthly meeting of the Minnesota chapter of Mutual UFO Network.

Meetings are open to the public and anyone can participate.

Cost is $3 for MUFON members, $5 for non-members (you can join the MUFON organization through the MUFON website at http://www.mufon.com )

Each month we discuss current areas of UFO research, sightings and close encounters. We also discuss topics such as new science and technology, the push for the reduction of government secrecy, exobiology and ET contact, parapsychology, spirituality and/or any other topics related to the UFO phenomenon.

We meet on the second Saturday of each month at the New Brighton community center from 2PM to 5PM.

Monthly meetings usually begin with reports on-going investigations and current UFO sightings and/or encounters.

We then have a feature presentation. These often include videos from one of the recent UFO conferences, talks (by one of the members or an outside expert), or a panel discussions on a topic of interest to the UFO community.

Join us in our public exploration of the mysteries in (or from) the sky

The Rendlesham Forest Incident of 1980

USAF First Response

The Rendlesham Forest incident is the most intriguing and best-documented UFO case in the world second only to Roswell, New Mexico in terms of name recognition; however in truth, it is a far more significant event than Roswell.

There is scarcely any other UFO case, anywhere in the world, which can boast such a large number of apparently highly credible witnesses on two separate nights or such a wide variety of supporting evidence that includes physical traces and confirmation by two Air forces, the USAF and the RAF.

In this presentation, witness, experiencer and ultimately investigator, Technical Sergeant James Penniston will share his experiences about the investigation of a craft-of-unknown-origin, located just outside RAF Woodbridge, England in December of 1980 where his team was the “First Responders” in the investigation of the craft. This case became known as the Rendlesham Forest Incident.

BIO: TSgt. James Penniston is USAF Security Forces / Retired. He entered the Air Force in 1973 and served over twenty years active duty in the US Air Force. Jim was assigned to the Strategic Air Command "Elite Guard" in Omaha Nebraska, providing security for General Officers, Congressmen, Foreign Heads of States, the President and members of his Cabinet.

Penniston held key assignments throughout the world including service in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He wrote defense, security, counter-terrorism and contingency plans for the USAF and NATO. For the majority of his twenty-year career, Penniston held U.S. TOP SECRET / BI / SCI and a NATO TOP SECRET COSMIC / ATOMAL security clearance.
