The Twin Cities Data Visualization Group focuses on creating a community around visually telling stories through data and technology mediums. The group arose through the desire of a handful of people who wanted to discuss visualization across sectors such as non-profits, journalism, arts, academia, and the private sector. We welcome everyone; those whom likely work with visualization technologies, interact closely with people who do, support individuals who do and are interested in getting started on their own data visualization journey.
We meet once a month so keep an eye on our Meetup page for updated times and locations.
Data Viz Coffee & Donuts Agenda = No Agenda! Come when you can, it is informal and we just enjoy talking with fellow interested data people.
Bring something to share if you have something or bring your questions if looking for input or to learn something new. Either way we welcome all and hope you can make it.
Location: We are doing this at the awesome Glam Doll Donuts which is south of downtown Minneapolis. It is a great local business in town with a cool origin story and plus awesome coffee and donuts. If you want coffee and/or donuts then you must purchase. Parking is pretty easy this time of day here with free parking on the streets just make sure to read the signs.
