Details

Kick off African American History Month with a lively Wikipedia editing session. Please join Mia's Library Affinity Group's campaign to improve coverage and increase visibility of African American visual artists in Wikipedia.

Please bring a laptop with you as the staff will only have a limited number available for use.

No Wikipedia experience necessary; training session at 12:30 p.m. for newcomers on the day of the event. Library resources will be on hand for researching artists in the museum's collection. We will also be providing light refreshments and will be presenting a specially designed award cookie for those attendees that add content during the Wikipedia Edit-a-thon.

Free, tickets required. To register, call 612-870-6323 or reserve online: https://tickets.artsmia.org/ItemList.aspx?node_id=24640
