This hike is definitely for ALL abilities. There is ample parking and the trails around the basin and lake are easy to follow and well used. The trails also extend around the back of the lake for a longer, more advanced hike. If you want to bring your two legged kids along, there is a playground for them and tennis courts if you are so inclined.
