This group was created to help adults with type 1 diabetes in the Chicagoland area find each other to have fun, share ideas, and build a supportive community! We strive to bring people together through educational and social events. We get together at local restaurants, parks and other fun spots to hang out, share tips and tricks we find useful living with type 1, have a good laugh and just share life stories.
We welcome any ideas for meetups, and want everyone to feel like they can contribute to the group. Please post ideas in "Discussions" section or feel free to reach out to Justus or Lane. Diabetes is challenging, and we want people to be connected to as much support as they need to thrive.
Welcome to the group! We look forward to meeting you!
Also, Our group is for friendship and support for T1s. Please do not seek to join if your intent is to use our group to market product or services.
