Techfest 2019 Cycle Along the Seafront

For any cyclists coming to Brighton for this year's UKOUG Techfest 2019 running from 1/12/2019-4/12/2019, I'm organizing a Techfest 2019 Cycle Along the Seafront in the style of the Openworld "Bike over the Bridge" events ... but along Brighton seafront to Rottingdean with a stop at the pub half-way for that essential "athletes lunch".

Entry is free and you can hire bikes at several places along the seafront ( https://www.btnbikeshare.com/ ) or at one of Brighton's many bike hire shops ( https://www.google.com/search?q=bikehire+brighton&oq=bikehire+brighton ).

Our route will start opposite the Grand Hotel, Brighton at 11am, then take us past Brighton Pier, Brighton Marina then along the Undercliff Walk to Rottingdean where we'll stop for a drink and lunch and then cycle back over the clifftop to be back at the Grand Hotel by 1.30pm in-time for registration before Super Sunday starts. If you need to hire a bike from Brighton Bike Share then either make sure you register on their website first, or I’ll be at the Grand for 10.30 if you need help.
