Another two great speakers this month for our June meetup:

Demystifying UX Research: mapping research to the Double Diamond
Stephen Ó Mathúna
Senior UX Researcher, Workday

Stephen is a Senior UX Researcher at Workday, where he spends his days in the design of software that others spend their days using. He’s originally from Cork, and living here once again after spending 5 years between London and Dublin. He’s sometimes referred to as a work-from-home hipster, having worked remotely since before the pandemic made it cool. When he’s not running research sessions, Stephen can generally be found reading Science Fiction books or playing with LEGO.

In his talk, Stephen will share how he conducts research at Workday, and how this changes depending on which part of the lifecycle a project is at. He’ll also share a few tips that the audience can take away to level up their own research.

Cass is a Product Designer, originally from the United States, now based in Cork.

They’ve worked on multi-product platforms within the health insurance, medical record, and transportation logistics industries. In addition to this enterprise UX work, she has mentored UX students within the UX Bootcamp at Prime Digital Academy in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
