Building a Research Repository that Strengthens the Research Team
Details
As the field of UX Research has matured, the practice of collecting and storing insights for future reference has become a hot topic. Building a “research repository” promises a reduction in redundant research studies and the democratization of data so that anyone in the organization can make meaning from user insights. Sounds great! But how do you build a usable repository, who will actually use it, and how can you ensure its success? Katya Hott, who leads the user research team at BrainPOP, will tell the story of how they built their research repository a little differently, and ended up becoming better researchers in the process.
