Design Process : Problem solving to Business models.

Details

What better way to start than to network as we listen to each other's design process, learn and re-shape our own?

Welcome to the UX Kitchen and we hit the ground running by running a UX challenge whereby we go deep into the process of problem solving for business. We hope to single out poor service and product experiences within our city & beyond, and re-design them.

This is a community that will re-define how we solve problems & do business in Africa. If you're an entrepreneur, a developer, UX designer, UI designer or product person, or simply in the tech field and looking to network, this is definitely for you. We strongly recommend non-techie to sign up too as problem solving and business cuts across every field

What should you expect to learn?

  1. Why you should have a design document & how to come up with one.
  2. The process of understanding your users needs
  3. How to plan for an MVP & avoid scope creeping
  4. How to design for an ideal business model

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Njiiri is the UX lead at Africa's Talking Studio, and her background is software entrepreneurship as a MEST alumni ( https://meltwater.org/ ).
She also stands in as the Figma Africa ambassador for Kenya.
On top of her product design, development and management experience in tech, she's also ran a startup or two and over time understood the key aspects of user, product & business.
