Public Body Accessibility Regulations: What are they?

Accessibility is becoming a hot topic. We live in a world that is becoming increasingly digital, but, according to WebAIM, is only 97.8% accessible. To help address this, a new regulation comes into effect this September. But, it can be a little confusing, and needs a bit of interpretation. For example, what is a public body? How is it enforced? How does it impact me - particularly if I’m not a public body?

Beverley, a front-end developer at the Ministry of Justice, recently completed a profession project on this topic, and is keen to share what they learnt. So in this talk, Beverley will discuss their research, share learning resources, and suggest ways your organisation can start to create an accessibility strategy to prepare for this law.
