We host events in Kjipuktuk (Halifax), Nova Scotia, Canada.

Beyond Usability: Design for Adoption
Volta, 1800 Argyle St Unit 801, Halifax, NS, CAYou deliver a flawless product, built on user needs and tested, only to watch users quietly ignore it. Sounds familiar? The design isn’t the problem. The transition is. Even the best human-centred process can’t guarantee success if people aren’t ready for change.
What if your work truly solved a problem? What if your products were wholeheartedly welcomed? Kedar Kadam, our November speaker, believes the key is guiding people through change during digital transformations and product development.
We’ll explore ways to make products (and product changes) stick, not just get them launched. We'll dive into running change management alongside human‑centred design from day one to turn user resistance into fast and lasting "yes" and "thank you".

Kedar Kadam is a UX leader with over two decades co-creating award-winning healthcare solutions that drive adoption and improve patient outcomes. Former Director of Product Experience at ResMed/MatrixCare, he scaled high-performing design teams, embedded AI into human-centered workflows, and delivered solutions that significantly reduced fall rates and enhanced risk detection across long-term care communities. Author of 1 granted and 16+ published innovation patents in AI/ML-enhanced UX, Kedar now serves as Sr. Business Consultant at Mara Consulting, supporting digital health transformation initiatives across Canada and aligning Human-Centred Design with change design to turn user resistance into seamless, 100% adoption.
