•Online[Workshop] From Figma to Function: Using AI + MCP to Convert Design to Code
OnlineThis hands-on session introduces designers to an emerging workflow that's transforming design-to-development handoffs: Converting Figma designs directly into functional HTML using AI and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
We'll start with a brief introduction to MCP, then walk through setting up the file system and Figma integrations with Claude Desktop. You'll see live demonstrations of configuring Figma's Dev Mode and watch as Claude Desktop translates real design components into clean, responsive HTML code in real-time.
This practical session bridges the gap between design intent and implementation, showing how AI can accelerate prototyping and developer collaboration. Bring your laptop to follow along – no coding experience required, just curiosity and a willingness to explore the future of design workflows.
## Takeaways
• Learn to set up and configure MCP with Claude Desktop to connect Figma designs directly to AI-powered code generation
• Master the Figma Dev Mode workflow for extracting design specifications and preparing assets for seamless AI translation
• Experience real-time design-to-code conversion using AI tools that understand design context and generate production-ready HTML
• Gain hands-on experience with an emerging workflow that accelerates prototyping, stakeholder demos, and design system documentation## Tools used

•Online[Workshop] UX in the AI Revolution: How to Position Yourself
Online## Is Your UX Career at Risk? Find Out for Yourself.
You've heard the headlines: "AI is replacing designers." "Mass layoffs in tech." "Junior roles disappearing." But what's actually happening in the UX job market right now?
In this hands-on workshop, you won't just hear about the transformation—you'll discover it yourself using AI.## What You'll Do
This isn't a lecture. This is a guided investigation where you'll:
✅ Use AI tools to research real-time UX job market data
✅ Uncover the hidden patterns in layoffs, hiring, and role evolution
✅ Discover why traditional UX career paths are collapsing
✅ Identify what's replacing them (hint: it's not what you think)
✅ Walk away with a personalized action plan for your career stage## Who Should Attend
- Junior designers wondering why entry-level jobs have vanished
- Mid-level professionals feeling stuck or suddenly vulnerable
- Senior designers trying to understand where the industry is headed
- UX managers watching their teams get restructured
- Career changers considering whether UX is still a viable path
If you work in UX/UI design, product design, or UX research—this workshop will change how you see your career trajectory.
## What Makes This Different
Instead of telling you what's happening, we're giving you the tools to investigate it yourself. You'll use AI to:
- Pull current job market statistics
- Analyze real job postings and salary data
- Identify which roles are disappearing and which are emerging
- Understand the economic forces driving these changes
By the end, you'll have:
- ✨ A clear picture of the new UX landscape (based on data YOU found)
- ✨ Confidence using AI as a research and career planning tool
- ✨ A personalized upskilling roadmap
- ✨ Community support from others navigating the same transformation
## What You Need
- Laptop or desktop computer
- Access to Claude.ai OR Perplexity.ai (free accounts work fine)
- Stable internet connection
## What You'll Walk Away With
📊 Hard data about what's really happening (not just panic headlines)
🎯 Clear understanding of the "Super IC" model replacing traditional teams
🛠️ Practical AI skills you'll use again for career research
📋 Personalized action items based on YOUR current situation
🤝 Connection with other UX professionals navigating the same shift## Fair Warning
This workshop presents unfiltered reality about the current UX job market. You'll see data that might be uncomfortable. But you'll also leave with clarity, direction, and actionable steps—rather than vague anxiety about "AI taking jobs."
If you prefer optimistic platitudes over honest assessment, this isn't for you.
If you want to understand what's actually happening so you can position yourself strategically—register now.# Instructor's Bio
