What we’re about
Welcome to PuXu - A Community of Practice for Product- and UX Professionals.
This is a community for anyone involved in building (digital) products and interested in Product and UX. Whether you’re a designer, product manager, strategist, UX consultant, or anything in between—you’re in the right place. While we have a Meetup.com Group for event organization, our Slack is where everything happens. Join us there! It is where we discuss new Meetups, and everything Product- and UX related.
Our goal is to connect professionals who love building great digital experiences, share knowledge, and learn from each other in a relaxed, friendly environment.
We meet in Utrecht, the heart of the Netherlands, to discuss, learn, and collaborate on all things Product and UX. Looking forward to meeting you at one of our events!
Thanks for being a part of PuXu! 🫰
After a brief hiatus, it is time again! 🥳 A new PuXu Meetup! And, surrounding one of the most requested topics from the community! We're stoked!
“From Insight to Prototype: AI in Discovery & Design” takes you through the full discovery funnel — from first questions to tested prototypes — powered by AI.
Instead of broad promises, this event is all about real stories from the field. Three speakers will share how they each apply AI in their day-to-day work: from shaping discovery and asking better questions, to validating user insights, to rapidly prototyping design concepts. Together, their talks cover the entire journey of how AI can accelerate and enrich product development.
Important note: Can't make it? Please update your RSVP accordingly in the event page so people who really want to come, are able to since the event is currently full.
What to Expect:
🌟 Three Talks, One Funnel: Follow the path from discovery → validation → prototyping with AI.
🤝 Connect & Network: Meet product & UX professionals who are exploring AI in their practice.
🍹 Drinks & Networking: Stay after the talks for casual conversations in a relaxed setting.
Speakers:
Jonathan Gray – Product Advisor at Visma
Jonathan is a part of Visma’s Product Discovery team, where the mission is to empower teams to find the right things to build — before building them right. At PuXu, he’ll explore how Product Discovery goes beyond research — it’s about inspiring teams to ask better questions, challenge assumptions, and organise themselves to move quickly and confidently. He’ll share how AI is becoming a game-changer in this process, helping us learn faster, spot patterns we’d otherwise miss, and create products that truly matter.
Sabrina Doornekamp – UX Lead at Therapieland
Sabrina Doornekamp is a UX lead at Therapieland, where she focuses on UX research and weaving user insights into new features. She will be speaking at Puxu, sharing her experience with implementing AI within the research process. Her talk will also cover how she is bridging the "discovery gap" by involving more teams in the research process.
Mihaela Prescornitoiu – UX Designer at Visma Idella
Mihaela Prescornitoiu is a UX Designer at Visma Idella, where she focuses on developing intuitive user experiences for various pension funds. At the upcoming Puxu event, she will share her experiences with using AI tools to streamline the design process. Mihaela will discuss how AI has not only facilitated the rapid testing of different UI concepts but also accelerated the overall design workflow and enhanced user engagement.
